River Flush Ohio

The Ohio River Flush Journey was conducted by a team of 15 April 28-May 2 2007. The Allegheny River was treated as part of the Ohio since it is the largest tributary. The map of the journey showed the Ohio River in dark blue, related river flush journeys are shown in purple, and Ohio Ricer tributaries are shown in lighter blue. Following the merge with the Mississippi and Missouri River teams and others in Cairo, several members continued to the end of the journey in Venice Louisiana. The journey included the following prayer locations:

  • Portville New York- about 30 miles from the headwaters of the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania.

  • Salamanca New York - Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino - Allegany Indian Reservation

  • Warren Pennsylvania - Along the Conawango Creek which flows from Lake Chatauqua - prayed against false religious structures (since the Chatauqua movement resists Christian belief)

  • Oil City Pennsylvania - Prayed against strong Catholic and Masonic influences as well as the Spirit of Mammon

  • Freeport Pennsylvania - At the Kiskiminetas River, which served as a link between the Mississippi and the Susquehanna River - Prayed cleansing of unrighteousness

  • Pittsburgh Pennsylvania - Prayed for the cleansing of the entire river system including the Allegheny, the Monongahela, and the Ohio Rivers.

  • Beaver Falls Pennsylvania - Where Beaver River feeds the Ohio River - Prayed against death and despair spirits here

  • Ohio-Pennsylvania-West Virginia border - Prayed for righteous government and justice at the site from which the Northwest Territory had been mapped

  • Wheeling West Virginia - Prayed against darkness especially from the Masonic

  • Moundsville West Virginia - Prayed for life to replace death and true worship to replace false worship

  • Marietta Ohio - Confluence of Muskingum and Ohio Rivers - Prayed here with our team supplemented by local pastors and intercessors - Prayed for a humble kingdom orientation would win out over prideful kingdoms of self

  • Point Pleasant Ohio - Confluence of Kanawha and Ohio Rivers - Prayed for a release of righteousness in an area going back to the Revolution. Prayed against selfishness and greed involved in the chemical industries and released creativity and release from defilement.

  • Huntington West Virginia - Ohio River - prayed repentance for idolatry, broken covenants, immorality, bloodshed

  • South Point Ohio - Ohio River - Confluence with Big Sandy River - Boundary Between Kentucky and West Virginia - prayed to cut off sorrow and iniquity

  • Portsmouth Ohio - Scioto River - We addressed the Shrine of Fatima, the forging of weapons from ore, and occult practices along the river, and prayed for the Scioto River.

  • Ohio Brush Creek - Leads to Serpent Mound - Cleansed through blowing of shofars and placed stone of remembrance

  • Little Miami River - near Cincinnati - Confluence with Ohio River - Flows from Fort Ancient (a native earthworks from the same period as the Great Serpent Mound) - Prayed a cleansing prayer with both a tree branch and also a stone of remembrance

  • Cincinnati - Licking River - Confluence with the Ohio River - Prayed for redemption of the sorrow which flows through Kentucky’s Appalachia

  • Great Miami River - near Cincinnati - Confluence with the Ohio River - This was a place of warfare and forts both ancient and modern - We prayed for it to be cleansed by the Savior’s blood

  • Carrollton Kentucky - Confluence of the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers - Prayed for the cleansing of all defilements and prophetically called for the Body of Christ to rise up and war for righteousness

  • Evansville Indiana - Angel Mounds - Ohio River - Prayed with a pastor and church for the entire journey - also went to Angel Mounds and cut off any false worship and called forth a spirit of awakening

  • Green River Confluence with Ohio River - Prayed for and left a stone of remembrance

  • Wabash River Confluence with Ohio River - There was a separate team that prayed a full flush of this river. However, we quarantined it from the Ohio by placing a stone of remembrance

  • Old Shawneetown Illinois - This was a town of promise once that died out, so we prayed against the spirit of death

  • Paducah Kentucky - Confluences with the Cumberland River and Tennessee River - Both of these rivers had their own river flush - Here we prayed repentance for bigotry and racism and asked spirit and truth and unity to come to the Body of Christ

  • Wickliffe Kentucky - Confluence Cross - This location is actually on the Mississippi River - Prayed in concert with the Mississippi and Missouri River Flush teams - we cried out for purity

  • Cairo Illinois - Fort Defiance - Confluence of the Mississippi River and the Ohio River - Met up with the Wabash River Flush team as well as the Mississippi and Missouri teams. Changed the name of the place to “Fort Obedience”. - Sealed all of the Ohio River Flush prayers in the power of the Word and of Jesus’ blood
